Hi, I'm Flavia, an Argentine watercolor artist, illustrator, surface pattern designer, and the founder of Les Lumières Designs—a name that means "Art from the Light."

Art has been part of my life since childhood, but in 2020 I took the leap of turning my lifelong passion into a full-time creative business. What began as a dream has grown into an international creative journey, allowing me to collaborate with brands, teach students around the world, and share the beauty of watercolor through art, design, and education.

Nature remains my greatest source of inspiration. I am especially drawn to botanicals, animals, landscapes, and the simple beauty found in everyday life. Watercolor captured my heart because of its fluidity, spontaneity, and endless possibilities. I continue to be fascinated by the delicate balance between water and pigment and the unique stories that emerge on paper.

Over the years, I have expanded my artistic practice beyond traditional painting into digital illustration and surface pattern design, creating artwork for textiles, products, and collaborations with creative brands.

My work also includes custom watercolor portraits of people and pets, bringing meaningful memories to life through art.

In addition to my studio practice, I am the author of my first book in Spanish, featuring my own illustrations—a project that beautifully combines faith and art.

I am also a live event painter, capturing special celebrations and meaningful moments in watercolor, transforming them into timeless keepsakes.

As a passionate educator, I teach watercolor classes and workshops both in person and online, including courses on Skillshare. I have also created ebooks and educational resources designed to inspire others to develop their own creative practice and discover the joy of painting.

Whether through an original artwork, a pattern collection, a commissioned portrait, or a watercolor workshop, my desire is always the same: to create pieces that bring beauty, joy, peace, and inspiration into people's lives.

I believe that creativity is a gift given to each of us by the Great Creator. As it says in James 1:17, "Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of heavenly lights." My wish is that through my art, others may be encouraged to embrace their creativity and let their own light shine.
